Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Mental Health Therapist
Status: Part-Time (Remote)
Schedule: Bi-Weekly Virtual Meetings + Treatment Plan Reviews
Location: JER Health Group – Polk County, FL
Reports To: Administrator / Clinical Director
Position Summary
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) provides remote clinical oversight for a Level 4 Residential Treatment Facility (RTF). This position is responsible for reviewing and signing off on treatment plans for up to five (5) residents, ensuring clinical appropriateness and adherence to AHCA Level 4 RTF requirements.
This is a low-volume, remote role that requires bi-weekly virtual meetings (30–45 minutes) with the Administrator to discuss resident progress and any updates to treatment goals. The clinician may additionally provide billable therapy services to residents if desired; however, the primary responsibility is treatment plan oversight.
Required Review Frequency (AHCA Level 4 RTF Standards)

Initial treatment plan: Completed within 5 days of admission.

Ongoing treatment plan reviews: Must be reviewed and updated every 30 days.

The LCSW/LMHC must sign and date all monthly treatment plan updates.

All documentation must follow AHCA guidelines for Level 4 Residential Treatment Facilities.
Key Responsibilities

Review, approve, and sign off on monthly treatment plans for up to five (5) residents.

Ensure treatment plans meet AHCA clinical requirements and reflect accurate, individualized goals.

Participate in bi-weekly virtual meetings (30–45 minutes) to discuss resident progress, treatment outcomes, and any changes to the plan of care.

Provide clinical recommendations when necessary to support treatment goals, behavioral stabilization, and resident well-being.

Maintain proper clinical documentation and timely electronic signatures.

Optionally provide individual or group therapy sessions to residents (therapist may bill independently for these services).

Maintain compliance with all state licensing standards and ethical guidelines.

Communicate any urgent clinical concerns to the Administrator promptly.
Qualifications

Must hold an active Florida license:

LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT (in good standing)

Experience working with behavioral health, adult residential treatment, or community-based care preferred.

Strong understanding of treatment planning, clinical documentation, and AHCA behavioral health requirements.

Ability to work independently and remotely with consistent communication.

Comfortable using electronic health records or digital document systems.
Workload & Expectations

5 treatment plans total (monthly review & signature).

Bi-weekly meeting: 30–45 minutes, virtual.

No case management, crisis response, or on-site duties required.

Flexible schedule; majority of tasks done asynchronously.
